Job Card-1
by Maurice Hutch Maddness White
Gotham Books

"Closing the door behind him it locks and part of the wall open as three black Credit cards come out on this small display tray."

Hutch, a man whose heart is as big as his substantial physique, drives a truck for “an Interior Demolition Company doing jobs in various parts of New York City.” The company demolishes building interiors to ready them for remodeling. When he discovers a hidden tray with three unlimited credit cards and a room with three varieties of men’s cologne in the building in which he is working, his life takes a crazy turn.

Hutch discovers very quickly that one of the colognes attracts women, giving them a strong and uncontrollable desire to have sex with him. Markola, the owner of a favorite strip club, immediately starts scheming to steal it when he sees it. Teaming up with a gold digger named Elise, he makes a plan to acquire it. Will he succeed? And how will Hutch manage all the new women in his life? Thus ensues a rollicking ride through NYC with a memorable cast of characters.

This adults-only novel explores the seedy side of life in the Big Apple. Characters include hit men, strippers, and Hutch’s buddies (the G.D.M.4.L, or GRAND DRUNKEN MASTERS 4 Life) with names such as Jazz, C-man, 2Soon, Outty-Al, Me-2, and D-train. Hutch’s mother, Mama Betty, is a strong, no-nonsense, outspoken woman who, though tough on her sons, loves them unconditionally. The family dynamic between mother and son is entertaining and humorous. The many characters and their antics will have readers chuckling throughout the book. Hutch is an endearing character. His desire to help his family, friends, and even strangers as he freely shares the wealth he has mysteriously acquired is touching.
