Happiness in Quantum Leaps: De-Stressing WITHOUT DRUGS!
by Aura D. McClain
Christian Faith Publishing

"Taking responsibility for your own mental and spiritual growth is the first step to creating a successful of unconditional love, peace, joy and happiness."

Author McClain creates a methodology for positive life improvement centered on an understanding of God as the energy source. McClain recalls her own story of discouragement and pessimism at a certain point in her life. Through the diligent study of positive thinking, her outlook expanded, and constructive change was the result. She urges readers to examine the totality of their lives, and address all concerns, basing their exploration on the understanding that our perceived reality is, in fact, composed of pure energy. We are connected with everything, including God. Our task is to align the mind, body, and spirit. We can discipline our minds and bodies by keeping our subconscious and conscious desires synchronized through exercises such as writing down our goals and adhering to a timeframe to achieve them. Overarching all is our spiritual interconnectedness, facilitating our ability to love ourselves and others unconditionally.

McClain worked as an aerospace engineer for twenty-five years and is now an ordained Christian minister and youth counselor. Along with biblical quotations, she includes much factual material drawn from current and traditional psychology and carefully makes a distinction between religious teaching and spiritual understanding. She shares her broad knowledge of science—its history, importance, and limitations—asserting that scientists haven’t yet recognized that thoughts are a form of energy like other components of our perceived reality, but suggesting this understanding will arise through further study of quantum physics. A few well-chosen illustrations underpin the narrative, along with articles exploring the danger of antidepressants, which McClain believes would not be necessary for those who follow her recommended practices and philosophy. She offers an initial three-question exercise to help readers fully utilize the wisdom she imparts. She hopes that her work will be read and shared among readers seeking in-depth, long-lasting solutions to life’s many challenges.
